In two hours on April 10, more than 2,000 pairs of jeans were delivered, counted, sorted, and selected.

“We always have a shortage of jeans. Could you collect jeans as well as winter coats?”
We often hear this request from Kledingbank Eindhoven and other poverty relief organizations. Even in our prosperous Brainport region, there are people who struggle financially. At least 1,300 people in Eindhoven are homeless. And divorce, illness, or job loss can suddenly leave people without enough money for clothing.
That is why the ‘Warm a heart, give a pair of jeans’ campaign took place again this year: from March 24 to April 9, we collected jeans together with our corporate partners.
The jeans are distributed to people in need through our social partners. And to complete the circle, Hazenberg collected the rejected jeans and transformed them into sustainable insulation material for social housing.
