DLL donates over a hundred laptops to four organizations

The perfect match doesn't always have to be about deploying volunteers, as DLL demonstrates! In October, they donated 132 laptops to social organizations.

Sustainable Development Goals:

Ronald van de Wiel, who coordinated this initiative at DLL, explains: “By giving laptops a second life, we combine sustainability with social impact. In this way, we help social organizations and contribute to a circular economy.”

Within our network, we had already received requests for new laptops from various sources. That’s why we were able to match DLL with no fewer than four social organizations: Stichting Leergeld Eindhoven, De Huiskamer voor Vluchtelingen, Kansen voor Kinderen, and Humanitas Helmond. These are organizations for whom these laptops make a real difference.

Leergeld Eindhoven said: “Thanks to this donation, we can help 100 students with limited financial resources obtain a suitable laptop for their education, which is incredibly valuable!”

And De Huiskamer voor Vluchtelingen: “We are very happy with the laptops. The newcomers who took our ICT course were able to start using them right away. They are actually only used to using a phone and are now learning how to apply for jobs and send emails in the Dutch way. A valuable step towards their independence.”
