Pro Bono Strategy Day
On Friday morning 11 December 2026, Samen voor onze Regio, in collaboration with Bob Willems, will be organising the first session of the Pro Bono Strategy Days.
The Pro Bono Strategy Day is an interactive session focused on team, organisational, and leadership development. The first edition took place on 28 August, followed by a second edition on 11 December 2026.
During the Strategy Day, four social organisations work together on a specific challenge from within their own organisation. Guided by Bob Willems, participants engage in discussions, share experiences, and advise one another. This collaborative approach leads to fresh insights and practical solutions that can be applied directly within their organisations. At the same time, participants learn from the challenges and approaches of other organisations.
The aim of the Pro Bono Strategy Day is to support social organisations in their ongoing development and help them build strong leadership, effective collaboration, and a resilient organisation that is well prepared for the future.
While taking part in volunteer activities through Samen voor onze Regio as a Rabobank employee, I discovered how much impact just a few hours of your time can make. Those experiences touched me every single time. Not only because you can make a difference for someone else, but also because you see firsthand what attention, time, and genuine involvement can mean to people. After those experiences, I knew one thing for sure: I wanted to contribute more to society. That is exactly what I now have the opportunity to do as a Relationship Manager at Samen voor onze Regio. I connect businesses and social organizations and support them in creating social impact together. It’s incredibly rewarding work and something that gives me a great deal of energy every day.
