On Friday 28 August 2026, Samen voor onze Regio, in collaboration with Bob Willems, will be organising the first session of the Pro Bono Strategy Days.
The Pro Bono Strategy Days consist of two interactive sessions on team, organisational and leadership development. The first session will take place on 28 August, followed by a second session on 11 December 2026. It is important that you attend both sessions.
During the strategy days, four civil society organisations will work together on a specific issue facing their own organisations. Under the guidance of Bob Willems, participants will engage in discussion, share experiences and offer each other advice. This will generate new insights and practical solutions that can be applied immediately within their own organisations. At the same time, participants will learn from the challenges faced and the approaches taken by other organisations.
The aim of the Pro Bono Strategy Days is to support civil society organisations in their further development and to help them build strong leadership, effective collaboration and a future-proof organisation.
While taking part in volunteer activities through Samen voor onze Regio as a Rabobank employee, I discovered how much impact just a few hours of your time can make. Those experiences touched me every single time. Not only because you can make a difference for someone else, but also because you see firsthand what attention, time, and genuine involvement can mean to people. After those experiences, I knew one thing for sure: I wanted to contribute more to society. That is exactly what I now have the opportunity to do as a Relationship Manager at Samen voor onze Regio. I connect businesses and social organizations and support them in creating social impact together. It’s incredibly rewarding work and something that gives me a great deal of energy every day.
