Warm a Heart, Give a Coat

During our annual fundraising campaign, coats are collected for and by residents of the Brainport region. A warm winter coat means more than just comfort. It gives confidence, dignity, and the opportunity to participate. With the Warm a Heart, Give a Coat campaign, we work together to ensure that residents in the Brainport region who cannot easily afford to buy such a coat can get through the winter warmly. This includes families with financial worries, newcomers, and people who are homeless or without shelter.

Every fall, winter coats are collected at various locations in the region over a period of three weeks. On one joint day, all coats are counted, sorted, and distributed. To ensure that the coats go directly to where they are most needed, the organizations themselves select the coats for their target group and take them with them immediately.

For social organizations

During the Warm a Heart, Give a Coat campaign, winter coats are collected in the region for three weeks. Residents drop off their coats at public collection points or at their workplace.

As a social organization, you are closely involved in the distribution. You choose the coats that suit your target group and take them with you immediately, so that they end up with the people for whom they make a difference.

Through our campaign, the collected coats are distributed to social organizations in the region, which carefully pass them on to the people for whom they are intended.
